Dr. Navgeet Singh (Nav)

Veterinarian and Practice Owner

DVM, MVSc, MSc

Dr. Nav is a compassionate veterinarian committed to delivering thoughtful, modern, and personalized care to every patient.

He believes exceptional veterinary medicine is built on clinical excellence, clear communication, and a genuine understanding of the bond between pets and their families.

After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine internationally, Dr. Nav pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan, further developing his clinical knowledge, research skills, and evidence-based approach to veterinary medicine.

His experience spans general practice, urgent care, and shelter medicine, with clinical interests in preventative healthcare, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine. He also enjoys caring for small mammals.

Dr. Nav founded the clinic with a simple but important vision: to make high-quality veterinary care more accessible and affordable without compromising on medical standards or compassion.

He is passionate about creating a welcoming practice where families receive honest guidance, thoughtful treatment options, and exceptional care at a fair price.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Nav enjoys travelling, discovering new places, and spending time with family and friends.

His philosophy is simple: exceptional medicine should be accessible to every pet, and every family should feel heard, respected, and supported. Without further ado, meet the team!

Laura Adams

Hello! I was born and raised here in Niagara, on Effingham street in Pelham.

In my previous life I worked in Interior Design in the GTA graduating from Sheridan College in 2007. I went back to school to pursue veterinary medicine in 2010, and  graduated from Ridgetown College in 2012.

I have had been very fortunate to work at a number of AAHA Gold star practices in the Oakville and Burlington for the past 11 years.

My latest venture the past 3 years was to open a charity spay & neuter clinic at a local not-for-profit and seeing it to fruition here in Fort Erie. Mission complete.

I currently live in Wainfleet with my son Luke, and 2 cats named Sigfried, and Martha May Milkshake.

Outside the clinic I enjoy camping, gardening, and immersing myself in nature. My other "mom" hobbies include following my son around Port Colborne from the splash pad, park, and to the beach.

I am very excited for this next chapter in my career and look forward to serving our community and their pets!

Shannon McCarrell

Registered Veterinary Technician

Surgery

Hello! I was born outside of Guelph, Ontario.  I knew wanted to be a veterinarian technician my whole life and graduated from Ridgetown College in 2003.

I have worked here in Ontario, Alberta, and I am now helping out in Newfoundland.

When I'm not working all over the country, I can be found on my small hobby farm with my 4 large breed dogs (Trinity, Cypher, Morpheus, and Neo), my two-house cats, (Pyscho and Rhea), my 2 cheeky conures (Lucy and Spencer), 5 barn cats (Notch, Velcro, Brittney, George, and Dora), chickens, ducks and one African Goose named Gandalf.

I also  have 3 two-legged children as well! (Jayden and Jordan), have flown the coop to attend University and that leaves me and my 10 year old son, Sawyer, to run the funny farm.  It definitely keeps her busy!!

Shannon has also completed the Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) designation is a prestigious credential that signifies an individual's strong academic preparation, professional competency in wellness programming, and commitment to continuing education and professional development.

The CWP credential is awarded to professionals from various disciplines who meet eligibility criteria and successfully complete the certification examination. This credential is recognized for its commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to professional standards, making it a valuable asset for wellness professionals

Drinker of Milk

Martha arrived to me at the my previous animal shelter in very poor condition. A kind citizen had trapped her and brought her in for evaluation.

Martha had a severe flea allergy and her entire back was covered in sores. With the proper care and medication, Marth fully recovered, grew her hair back and imprinted her spicy self on my heart.

Martha likes to drink the leftover milk from cereal, eat too much cat food and then barf on the carpet, and perch on your hip while sleeping at night.

Outside of her regular duties monitoring for squirrel activity on the fence, she lays on the printer and clogs it with cat hair, and communicates with the local birds by chirping.  She is a lovely lady and we absolutely adore her.

Heather Herda

Hello! My name is Heather. I have a degree in Political Science with McMaster University and diploma from Sheridan College, where I completed the Animal Care program and began building my experience working with animals.

I have spent several years working in veterinary clinics as a Veterinary Assistant, gaining experience in patient care and supporting veterinary teams.

I have also worked with several humane societies, where I gained experience in animal care, shelter operations, and volunteer coordination.

My background in both veterinary clinics and animal welfare has given me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals and people, and I’m excited to bring that experience to the team.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog. I’m also a big fan of escape rooms and board games, so I'm always up for a challenge.
